Central Arizona College dedicates Sundt Construction training wall
A new workforce development partnership between Central Arizona College and Tempe-based general contractor Sundt Construction Inc. was celebrated on July 13 when CAC dedicated the new Sundt training wall built by Sundt for the college’s welding department. The wall dedication was held in the V building compound.
AECOM and China Communications Construction Corporation subsidiary establish joint venture company to service environmental solutions opportunities in People’s Republic of China
HONG KONG (Aug. 7, 2017) — AECOM, a premier, fully integrated global infrastructure firm, announced today that it signed an agreement with China Communications Construction Company Limited Highway Consultants Co., Ltd. (HPDI), a subsidiary of China Communications Construction Group Limited (CCCC), the fourteenth largest state owned enterprise in the People’s Republic of China (PRC), to establish a Beijing-based Joint Venture (JV) company for the purpose of servicing the growing need for stronger environmental protections across China.
CONCO: The I-5 NB HOV, Portland Ave to Port of Tacoma Road Project
The Conco Companies is providing shotcrete services for a new I-5NB HOV lane that runs from Portland Avenue to the Port of Tacoma Road in Tacoma, WA. The full project includes widening the I-5 to make room for the HOV lane as well as the construction of a couple of bridges, reconstructing and improving several interchanges along the route, and repaving all lanes of the highway.
